Three Sweeps LLC, doing business as QuantBuddyAI ("we", "us", or "our"), operates a trade history analysis, journaling, and performance assessment platform. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information transparently and securely.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights as a user. By using QuantBuddyAI, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. This policy applies to all users of QuantBuddyAI, regardless of subscription tier.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account (via Clerk), we collect:

• Email address: Used for account authentication and communication
• Name: First and last name from your authentication provider
• User ID: Unique identifier from Clerk
• Subscription tier: FREE or PRO status
• Account creation date: When you signed up

2.2 Trading Data

When you use the Service, we collect:

• Imported trade history: Real brokerage trade records including entry/exit timestamps, entry/exit prices, profit and loss amounts, instruments traded, trade direction (long/short), hold duration, and broker source (TOS, IBKR, TradeStation, NinjaTrader/Universal CSV)
• Journal entries: Notes, emotion ratings, setup tags, and Playbook associations you create for individual trades
• Mindset & lifestyle entries: Sleep quality, exercise, stress, diet, confidence, and custom habit logs you record in the daily journal
• AI-generated analysis: Behavioral pattern reports, performance assessment reports, weekly digest narratives, lifestyle correlation insights, and performance metrics
• Derived metrics: Win rates, profit factors, Sharpe ratios, equity curves, P&L calendars, and other computed statistics from your imported trades

2.3 Payment Information

For paid subscriptions:

• Stripe Customer ID: Unique identifier linking you to Stripe
• Payment method details: Handled securely by Stripe (we do NOT store card numbers)
• Transaction history: Subscription payments
• Billing information: Subscription start date, renewal dates, cancellation status

Credit card numbers and CVV codes are processed and stored by Stripe, not Three Sweeps LLC d/b/a QuantBuddyAI. We never see or store your full payment card details.

2.4 Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you use the Service: IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, pages visited, features used, submission timestamps, error reports, load times, and session data.

2.5 Communications

If you contact us via email or support channels, we collect the content of your messages and any attachments you provide.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Service Delivery: Analyze imported trade history, generate behavioral pattern analysis, produce AI performance assessment reports, compute trade log metrics, generate weekly digest narratives, correlate lifestyle data with trading performance, and provide AI recommendations
• Account Management: Authenticate users, manage subscriptions, enforce tier limits
• Payment Processing: Bill subscriptions and process payment transactions
• Product Improvement: Improve AI models, identify bugs, enhance features (using aggregated, anonymized data)
• Communication: Send service updates, subscription confirmations, important notices, and respond to support requests
• Security: Detect fraud, prevent abuse, protect against unauthorized access
• Legal Compliance: Comply with laws, regulations, and legal processes

We do NOT: sell your personal information to third parties; use your proprietary trading strategies or imported trade data for our own trading; share individual strategies, trade history, or real P&L data with competitors, other users, or the public; or send unsolicited marketing emails.

4. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

Three Sweeps LLC d/b/a QuantBuddyAI integrates with the following third-party services to provide functionality:

4.1 Clerk

Purpose: User authentication and account management. Data shared: email, name, user ID. Privacy Policy: clerk.com/legal/privacy

4.2 OpenAI (AI Integration)

Purpose: AI-powered trade history analysis, behavioral pattern detection, performance assessment reports, and strategy optimization. Data shared: imported trade data (timestamps, prices, P&L, instruments), strategy descriptions (de-identified). Note: OpenAI does NOT use QuantBuddyAI data to train its models (per Replit AI Integrations terms).

4.3 Stripe

Purpose: Payment processing for subscriptions. Data shared: email, payment method details, transaction amounts. Note: Stripe handles all sensitive payment data; we only store Stripe customer IDs.

4.4 Replit Infrastructure

Purpose: Cloud hosting, database, and infrastructure. All data stored in QuantBuddyAI is hosted on Replit's infrastructure.

5. Data Storage & Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction:

• Encryption: Data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
• Database Security: PostgreSQL database with access controls and encrypted connections
• Authentication: Secure authentication via Clerk with session management
• Payment Security: PCI-DSS compliant payment processing via Stripe
• Access Controls: Limited employee access to user data on a need-to-know basis

No security system is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations:

• Active accounts: All data retained while your account is active
• Account deletion: Personal data deleted within 30 days after account closure
• Trading strategies: Deleted 30 days after account termination
• Transaction records: Retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes
• Aggregated analytics: Anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for product improvement

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Right to Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Data Portability: You can request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Right to Deletion: You can request deletion of your personal data. Note: We may retain certain data for legal compliance.

9. International Users & Data Transfers

QuantBuddyAI is hosted in the United States via Replit's infrastructure. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

GDPR Compliance (EU Users): We process your data based on your consent and our legitimate business interests. You have rights under GDPR (access, deletion, portability, objection). Data transfers comply with GDPR standards. You can file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

CCPA Compliance (California Users): We do NOT sell your personal information. You have the right to know what data we collect and request deletion. You can opt out of certain data sharing (though this may limit functionality).

10. Children's Privacy

QuantBuddyAI is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 18 without parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new "Last Updated" date, displaying a notice within the Service, and announcing updates on our X account @QuantBuddyAI. Continued use of QuantBuddyAI after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
