Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QuantBuddyAI, a service operated by Three Sweeps LLC, doing business as QuantBuddyAI ("Service", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Service.

Your use of QuantBuddyAI constitutes acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

2. Service Description

QuantBuddyAI is a trade history analysis, journaling, and performance assessment platform that provides:

• Trade log importing from supported brokers via CSV/Excel (thinkorswim/TOS, Interactive Brokers/IBKR, TradeStation, NinjaTrader/Universal CSV) and broker auto-sync via SnapTrade (Robinhood and 20+ brokers)
• AI-powered analysis of your imported trade history, including behavioral pattern detection and performance assessment reports
• Performance metrics derived from imported trades (win rate, profit factor, Sharpe ratio, Sortino ratio, equity curves, P&L calendars, and more)
• Trade journaling features including notes, emotion ratings, setup tags, Playbooks, and an AI-generated weekly digest
• A separate life journal that tracks lifestyle factors (sleep, exercise, stress, focus, prep) and correlates them with your trading results
• AI optimization suggestions for user-submitted strategy concepts
• Custom indicator builder for Pro subscribers

QuantBuddyAI is an educational and self-assessment tool ONLY. We do not execute trades or handle funds, provide personalized investment advice, guarantee the accuracy of any analysis, act as a broker-dealer or financial institution, or verify the accuracy of imported trade data from your broker.

3. Not Financial Advice

THIS IS NOT FINANCIAL, INVESTMENT, OR TRADING ADVICE.

All content, analyses, performance assessments, behavioral pattern reports, and AI-generated suggestions on QuantBuddyAI are provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this platform should be construed as financial, investment, tax, or legal advice; a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security; professional consultation or trading coaching; an endorsement of any trading strategy; or a guarantee of future performance.

Analysis of your real trade history is provided solely for your own self-education and self-assessment. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions. Past performance does not indicate future results. All trading involves substantial risk of loss. Consult a licensed financial advisor before making investment decisions.

4. User Accounts & Subscriptions

4.1 Account Registration

You must create an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4.2 Subscription Tiers

QuantBuddyAI offers the following subscription tiers:

• FREE: Unlimited manual trade logging, daily lifestyle journal, P&L calendar heatmap, core performance metrics (win rate, profit factor, max drawdown, expectancy), behavioral pattern stats, and Playbooks
• Pro ($19/month or $169/year): Everything in Free plus file imports (CSV/Excel from TOS, IBKR, TradeStation, NinjaTrader, and generic formats), live broker auto-sync for supported brokers, full GPT-5 performance reports, and lifestyle correlation insights
• Founding Member: Early adopters who joined before paid pricing launched keep a permanent Founder badge and can subscribe to Pro at an exclusive $9/month founding rate. Founding Member status does not by itself include Pro access.

4.3 Billing & Payment

Pro subscriptions are available at $19/month or $169/year, billed at the cadence you select at checkout. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. All fees, once charged, are non-refundable except as required by law. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers. Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe. Failed payments may result in service suspension or downgrade to the FREE tier.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months. Upon cancellation, you will lose access to premium features but retain access to FREE tier features.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to: use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate securities laws; engage in market manipulation, insider trading, or fraudulent activity; upload malicious code or harmful content; attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service; share your account credentials; scrape or automate access beyond allowed API limits; resell or white-label QuantBuddyAI without written authorization; submit false or misleading trading strategies; use the Service to spam, harass, or harm others; or circumvent usage limits or subscription tier restrictions.

Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 QuantBuddyAI IP

Three Sweeps LLC, doing business as QuantBuddyAI, and its original content (excluding user-submitted data), features, functionality, software, algorithms, AI models, branding, and trademarks are owned by Three Sweeps LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service during your subscription.

6.2 User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of your imported trade history data and other data you submit. By submitting content, you grant QuantBuddyAI a worldwide, non-exclusive license to process and analyze your imported trade history using AI, generate performance metrics and behavioral pattern analysis from your trade data, display your content within the Service (your trade data is private and visible only to you), and use aggregated, anonymized data for product improvement.

We will not sell your proprietary strategies or individual trade data to third parties. Your imported trade history is private and never shared.

6.3 AI-Generated Analysis

Analysis results and AI-generated content produced for your strategies are provided for your use. However, QuantBuddyAI retains rights to the underlying AI models and algorithms.

7. Data Accuracy & AI-Generated Content

WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES ABOUT DATA ACCURACY OR AI RELIABILITY.

Imported trade data may be parsed incorrectly. Performance metrics derived from imported trade history may contain errors. AI-generated performance assessment reports may produce incorrect, incomplete, or misleading conclusions. Backtests assume idealized execution. AI cannot predict market events. You must independently verify all data and analysis before trading.

8. Disclaimers & Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Three Sweeps LLC d/b/a QuantBuddyAI disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free service, accuracy of any content or data, and that defects will be corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

THREE SWEEPS LLC D/B/A QUANTBUDDYAI'S LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

In no event shall Three Sweeps LLC d/b/a QuantBuddyAI, its officers, directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for trading losses or investment damages of any kind; indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages; loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities; damages from data breaches, system failures, or service interruptions; or regulatory fines arising from your use of the Service.

Three Sweeps LLC d/b/a QuantBuddyAI's total liability for all claims shall not exceed the fees you paid in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Three Sweeps LLC d/b/a QuantBuddyAI, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your use or misuse of the Service; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any laws or regulations; trading decisions or losses based on your use of QuantBuddyAI; or content you submit to the Service.

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support. Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

11.2 Termination by QuantBuddyAI

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately without notice if you violate these Terms or Acceptable Use Policy, fail to pay subscription fees, engage in fraudulent or illegal conduct, or pose a security risk to the Service or other users.

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to premium features will immediately cease, you will lose access to your trade data and analysis results after 30 days, no refunds will be issued for prepaid subscription fees, and Sections 3, 6–10, and 12 of these Terms survive termination.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit against Three Sweeps LLC d/b/a QuantBuddyAI.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting an updated version on this page with a new "Last Updated" date, displaying a prominent notice within the Service, and announcing updates on our X account @QuantBuddyAI. Changes become effective 30 days after notice is provided. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
